Nurse Services

MSActiveNurses

When you're first learning to give yourself an injection, it helps to have a professional teacher. The AVONEX ActiveNurses program provides a licensed, MS-trained nurse who will come to your home and teach you the skills you need to feel confident about giving yourself an injection. And because proper training and guidance can help you get the most from your therapy, it's good to know that ActiveNurses support doesn't stop after the first injection.

Advice and more

The program is here to give you advice and extra help managing your therapy as long as you're taking AVONEX. Whether you're new to AVONEX, or you've been on treatment for a while, ActiveNurses can help you manage your MS with confidence, every day. The program offers:

  • Free, unlimited in-home injection training sessions. An ActiveNurse will guide you and your care partner through your first injection and is available to offer help and guidance whenever you need it.
  • Free phone counseling, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. An ActiveNurse can answer your questions about MS and about AVONEX anytime. Call 1-800-456-2255 today to learn more about ActiveNurses.

"As an ActiveNurse, I love working with MS patients in their homes. It's so important for them to be in an environment they feel most comfortable and safe in as they begin to learn about MS and their AVONEX therapy. When I leave their home after they administer their first injection, I leave knowing that any AVONEX therapy support they need is just a phone call away."
